Anelka will join Shanghai Shenhua very soon. It is said that he will have earned about £20,0000. His yearly income will reach 10,600,000 euros, just behind Eto' o and Cristiano Ronaldo in history. He also has some business contracts with Shanghai Shenhua. These contracts can bring him more money in China.

The British media reports that Anelka just comes to China for money. This is true. If he plans to play high-level football, he won’t come to China.

I am sure that many foreigners haven’t heard about Chinese Super League let alone Shanghai Shenhua In recent years, the Chinese football clubs are usually supported by rich people who have made great fortunes in Chinese business. Only these billionaires have money to burn in Chinese football. Shenhua is just an example.

According to the Chinese media, some other Chinese football clubs are also seeking footballers abroad. A football club has contacted Del Piero and Pirlo. A rumor even says that Raul might come to China too.

Look! These footballers are old and their career will be over soon. So I guess that they are happy to play in Chinese Super Legue. Less competition but good salaries! Why not take this chance to earn money? I am very curious who will be the next ‘Big Star’ to play football in China.

The footballers who come to China are all in their late career. They have earned enough champions. The competition level of Chinese Super League is too low. It is enough for them to have fun and make a good fortune.

Did you see any top footballers like Messi who'd like to play football in China?

Kevin,

I have to say that you are right. Anelka might have a new team mate soon. I heard that Ballack was negotiating with Shenhua. But he hasn't decided to come to China. Right now, he is at Leverkusen and plays an important position.

Well said. Buying foreign footballers to play Chinese super league won't benefit to enchance Chinese football. If they are really rich, they can build football schools to train young footballers.

Look at those top football clubs. They all have their training camps to train young and potential footballers.

Chinese people know nothing about soccer. They just invest their money in wrong area.

To Jimmyb and Carlos,

Unfortunately, the bosses of Chinese football clubs are upstarts. They have accumulated a large quantity of money. They have passion in soccer so they put their money in soccer. But few of them know how to run a football club because they are just businessmen.

I just heard that Hengda Football Club is chasing after Drogba. But Drogba is still useful to Chelsea. They won't let him go easily. It is said that Hengda has prepared for 300 million yuan to get Drogba. If Drogba agrees, he will earn much than Anelka.

Buying foreign aids can enchance their clubs so that they can compete for the champions of Chinese Super League. The trophy and title are very important to the bosses of the clubs. They have money but they don't have fame. The title of the Chinese Super League brings them fame.

How many football schools can be built with 300 million yuan? Chinese soccer has no future if the authorities and bosses of clubs just 'play soccer' in this way.

Kevin,

I am with you. Inviting foreign aids to play in Chinese Super League is no good to improve Chinese soccer. Sooner or later, the foreign aids will leave.

To save Chinese soccer, China should cultivate their own footballers. But those who decide the future of Chinese soccer are short-sighted. The clubs just chase after capable foreign aids to win the champion. You must know Hengda Football Club. They have capable foreign aids. Besides, most of the footballers are from Chinese national football team. They are much more powerful than other clubs. So it is easy for them to defeat other teams and win the title of Chinese Super League.

The former Shenhua football club was involved in the notorious Chinese football scandal. If the New Shenhua was punished for this reason, it will be degraded to a lower-level league. I guess Anelka will not join a degraded club.

Zhujun, an investor to the Shenhua Club, has flown to Paris to see two top footballers from the South America. According to the media, one of the two is Ronaldinho. I do not know if he will come to China. The previous reports also claimed that Shenhua negotiated with Guti and Drogba.

It seems that more and more top outdated footballers will come to China to make money. But who are they?

The rumor said that Shenhua and Drogba had made a deal, Jimmyb. Anyway, spending a lot of money on buying outdated footballers is not the right way to develop Chinese Soccer.
