| U do not need to drink it. Just take a little sip or pretending taking a sip. Usually Chinese won't force foreigners drink. But they could be vicious to Chinese on the table... It is like a battle... So if u are a foreigner, do not worry about it. |

But I do know that Chinese people prefer to 'force' other people to drink at the banquets. They have many excuses to make you drink. Sometimes, you do not know how to decline their toasts. But I found a good excuse to declinde to the toast. The condition is you must have gotten married. When others propose a toast to you, just tell them "I am planning to have a baby soon." Generally, they won't force to drink. They know that alcohol is no good to people's health. If you use thsi excuse, you have to remember not to drink again. |

| Cherry, that's a good excuse. I giver you another one 'I am allergic to alcohol'. I am sure that no one will persuade you to drink again. |

| I am a Chinese. To be honest, I really hate people propose toasts at the banquet for no reason. Do not force people who don't drink to drink alcohol. |
