It is very difficult to be a celebrity in China. Being a celebrity, you have to be prepared for the unexpected. You have to have to be strong mentally. Someone who dislikes you will do their best to destroy you or make use of you to earn a good reputation.

Han Han is a young talented writer as well as a famous blogger in China. Recently, he has been accused of faking his early works. Mai Tian, a Chinese IT blogger firstly wrote an article, saying Han Han was artificial. He doubted that Han Han found someone to write articles for him or that a backroom team created him as a very successful image of a young Chinese talented writer. Han Han reacted that he offered a reward of 20 million RMB to find the proof that someone wrote articles for him.

A few days later, Fang Zhouzi, another celebrity who once dug out that Tang Jun faked his diploma, stood out, analyzed Han Han’s early works and then claimed that they were not written by Han Han. Instead, Han Han’s father Han Renjun or his team wrote them for him.

This time, Han Han showed more than one thousand of pages of his manuscripts to prove his early works were written by himself. On the other hand, he flied a suite of defamation in Shanghai against Fang Zhouzi, demanding Fang issue a correction and an apology along with 100000 yuan as compensation.

Fang reacted that his lawyer would take care of the law suit but he will still analyze Han Han’s articles and prove he is right. Even he was wrong, he would give 100000 yuan to Han Han but never make an apology.

Doubts:
1. Han Han’s first well known essay---“Seeing ourselves in a cup (Bei Zhong Kui Ren)”.

According to some materials, Han Han missed the final of the 1999 New Concept Writing Competition for some reason. The organizer of the competition gave him a second chance because Han Han wrote two brilliant articles “Seeing a doctor (Qiu Yi)” and “Bookstore” in the first round.

The examiner Li Qigang just put a half-filled glass of water on the table, threw a piece of crumpled paper in the glass and then told Han Han “This is your test.” One hour later, Han Han finished “Seeing ourselves in a cup”. All examiners were amazed by Han Han’s essay. As a result, Han Han won the first prize.

Today, someone doubted that Li Qigang was a friend of Han Han’s father Han Renjun. He told Han Han’s father the “test” in advance and Han Han’s father wrote “Seeing ourselves in a cup”. Han Han memorized the essay and wrote it from his memory at the final.

Facing of the accusation, Li Qigang made an announcement, saying “Han Renjun and him indeed studied in the same university. But he never knew him.”

2. Hanhan’s first novel “Triple Gate”.

A 17 years old boy dropped out of school and wrote a novel called “Triple Gate”. This novel made him well-known to the public. However, Han Han said in an interview that he didn’t know why he chose “Triple Gate” as the name of his novel. When he promoted his novel in the colleges, some fans asked how he commented his first novel. He just said he couldn’t remember all plots in the novel.

On Jan. 29, Han Han explained about the title of his first novel. He said the atmosphere of the interview was very unpleasant. So he said he didn’t know why he chose Triple Gate as the book title. On the other hand, he already decided to publish his manuscripts of Triple Gate. Han Han’s wife Jin Lihua also said the manuscripts of “Seeing a doctor”, “Bookstore” and “Seeing ourselves in a cup” was found and would be identified by the forensic experts.

BBQQ,

the flight between Han Han and Fang Zhouzi has been reported widely. I read his articles and novels. He is very talented. I couldn't understand why Fang Zhouzi picked on Han Han this time.

I just learnt this from the news on the internet. Frankly, I didn’t read any books or essays written by Han Han. But I have a question “Why doesn’t Fang Zhouzi show any evidence that Han Han was fake?” So far, he hasn’t found any evidence to prove that Han Han’s father or his team wrote articles for him. All he said is “I guess, I think….”

On the other hand, Han Han released his manuscripts and tried to publish them to prove that his works are not written by someone else.

Whom should I believe?

Today, Han Han wrote an announcement in his blog, saying he withdraws from the ‘battle’. Also, he already filed a law suit in Shanghai.

Han Han has withdrawn himself from the battle. He just filed the lawsuit to the court. Soon the court will make the final decision. If Fang Zhouzi failed to offer firm evidence, he will lose in the court. As he said, he will pay the fine but never apologize to Han Han. He will keep stuyding Han Han to find evidence.

Cherry, Fang seems to be a scoundrel. He hasn't taken out any firm evidence. It's unwarranted charges.
