“I am afraid of two things when I go shopping at weekends. The first is crowding into the public bus and the second is waiting long lines for the use of the ladies’ restroom”, said a Chinese girl.

I believe that many Chinese girls have the same problem like the girl above. I am a boy. In most places, ladies’ rest rooms are built very close to men’s restrooms. If you use the public restrooms often, you will see there is always a long line in front of the ladies’ restroom but no one queue in front of men’s restroom. This phenomenon is called “China Toilet Inequality” by some female activists.

To protest against the toilet inequality, several girls occupy the men’s restroom in Guangzhou. They call for the government to provice more public toilet stalls for women in this way.

It is true that women spend more time using the toilets but men don’t. To solve this problem, the government should take that girl’s advice to build more toilet stalls for women. Another way is to build more unisex toilets.

I heard this news, too. It reminds me that when I joined a CET test in university. There were too many girls waiting outside of the Ladies' room. So we dicided to go to the Men's Room and it was empty. Now this is a problem that calls for immediate solution.

You were very brave, Vanessa. Didn't you fear that some boys might enter the toilets? I guess that you girls used the toilet one by one. Why? Someone had to watch for those who were in the toilet.

Yes, one of the girls was waiting outside of Men's Room until the last girl getting out. Every time when we had a test, the Men's Rooms always be occupied by girls because we were Department of Foreign Language.

No, most of them are like little girls, very gentle and sensitive. I don't say boys should be rude, but at least not like that.

That's the man should be. But they don't loll like that. It's still a pity in my college life.
