Maybe 2 years, but then in remote villages, older "babies" prefer breast milk than formula milk and even at 3, still suckling their mothers'. Perhaps, the babies just want to suck their moms' breasts rather than her milk. Just my guess. My mom told me that she spread gentian violet liquid on her breats in order to stop me eating her milk. It worked very well.
