Most L-visa is valid within 3 months, but you can only stay for a duration as specified on your Chinese visa, usually thirty (30) days from the date of your entry. Yes like Enid says, better check your visa, either double entry or single entry, etc. From my experience, double entry L-visa is valid for 6 months.

Enter Before 19 Nov, 2012 means that you have to enter China before 24:00 of 19 Nov, 2012. Otherwise, your visa will expire.

If you enter on Nov. 11, 2012, you can exit on Nov 23, 2012. In fact, your duration can last for 15 days from Nov.11, 2012, meaning you can stay in China and exit on Nov. 25, 2012.
