Today we are showing you the Tablet of Nestorianism in Xian (Daqin Jingjiao Bei). Da Qin means Xi'an China and Jing Jiao means Nestorianism, an earlier sect of Christianity. This tablet was unearthed in 1950s in the west suburbs of Xian by accident when the workers were building a factory. Then the people got to know that Christianity was introduced into Xian, China in the early Tang Dynasty (618 ...- 907) and the Tang government allowed the missionaries to propagate their faith in Xian, hence the popularity of Nestorianism at that time. Now this tablet is housed in the Xian Forest of Stone Steles Museum. Welcome you to visit Xi'an China and visit this tablet.

So, the rulers of the Tang Dynasty were pretty enlightened to accept culture of other nations. That was great! thus China is superior during the Tang Dynasty.

International relations flourished during Tang where China opened its doors to many foreign visitors and traders. Have you heard of Changsha ceramics produced during Tang dynasty? The sunken ship meant or belonged to Arab traders was found near Belitung island, Indonesia.
