| New terracotta warriors were unearthed in the excavation pit of the Museum of Qin (211-206 BC) Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xian, among which, the biggest one is 2.5 meters (about 8.2 feet) high. In addition, archaeologists found lots of charcoal on the site, proving that the warriors were once deliberately set afire in ancient times. This is the 3rd large-scale excavation since the discovery of Terracotta Warriors in the year of 1974. | I've seen this news on TV too. Good news. Maybe next time when we go to Xi'an, we could see something new. |
