Usually Indians will stay where Indian food and other Indian stuff are available. From the posts on Indian food, probably you can find more. I apologise for not being able to help you more. For Arabs and Africans, they prefer Huanshi Zhong Lu area, especially Xiaobei for Africans.

P/S I've seen some Indians stayed around Shangxiajiu area because there's one Indian restaurant.

Try punjab hotel located inside Guotai building , nearby garden hotel .So many indian guys there .
