If it doesn't offend other squatting customers, I will sit at one of the tables provided.

Hahaha, why do you think you offend them? They might offend you in fact.

Cherry, I always respect someone's culture thus do not wish to offend him/her. He/she would reciprocate by respecting my culture too. No, they will never offend me.

You are very kind, Wan. If you do not want to "experience their culture", then you can eat it as you like.

Chinese coffee shops in my hometown have distinctive features, they have old fan, marbled table (easy to play majiang?), and wooden stool for the men to squat while having toast and coffee. Coffee mixture was brewed over charcoal ember. Now gone were the days. Old Town White Coffee is trying to bring that memory back.

Haha, Starbucks is very popular in China. I just went there once. Honestly, I do not like coffee and Starbucks' coffee is not as good as I expected. Perhaps, I didn't order their special ones. I went there because my friend had two special vouchers. WIth the vouchers, we enjoyed two cups of coffee for free.

Wan, I actually prefer to drink instant coffee. It tastes better in my opinion.

Maybe you should try black coffee mixture and white coffee.

Well, I prefer instant coffee to Starbucks coffee. But this doesn't mean that I am into coffee. I just drink coffee when I feel sleepy or very tired.
