Drugs or what?

Hi my question is about a package I was expecting from the UK it was actually herbal capsules for a condition I have.

Although not prescribed by a medical professional the herbal stuff had been working for me. My family sent out a small package of about 200 capsules through the Post Office 4 weeks ago and I still haven't received them and usually I get deliveries from abroad within 2 weeks maximum. So I started thinking have the herbal capsules been confiscated at customs thinking they were illegal drugs or what?

So does anyone know what it could be as I don't want to ask my family to resend more because it is costly at least if I know they were not allowed into China then I will know better where as now I am still waiting to see if they will be delivered.

I would appreciate any insight into the mystery.

GUEST5468 It is very likely that your package as been confiscated by at customs. China has published a new rule, which forbids edible bird's nest and other herbal medicine made from animals.

Better get a prescription and detailed ingredients of your herbal medicine and then see if it can pass the customs.

I used to send antibiotics from Malaysia to China by DHL but was confiscated by the Chinese customs.
