The expected rain didn't fall in Beijing but came to Tianjin. In some areas of Tianjin, the rainfall reached 345 mm.

My sister is in Tianjin. She texted a message to me in the afternoon. The rain was too heavy. Tianjin people learnt a good lesson from Beijing. According to the reports, polices were deployed to direct the traffic and the rescue teams were ready to deal with emergent situations.
