Hand-sliced noodles, 刀削面(dāo xiāo miàn) in Chinese, is one of the popular food in northern China. They are slivers of dough sliced from a block and then boiled in water. A restaurateur just creates a machine to help to do the tiring cutting work. 3,000 robots have been sold. Wow, robots are taking over the restaurant industry!

Unless it moves, kneads dough.. it's just an ordinary slicer (machine) that shaped like a robot?

So, two others have nothing to do in the kitchen now and the noodles will be in very same strands. However, only hand-kneaded dough tastes good.

Glommy, they can knead dough by hand and then let the machine to make noodles. I think the boss really loves it because he can let the machine replace his cook. This saves him some money in the long run.
