How do you move the “big furniture” into your house if the corridor is too narrow and the elevator is too small? Learn from this poor house holder from Xian. He hired a crane and 8 workers to “airlift” his new sofa into his apartment on 14th floor. The airlift cost him RMB5000 (about USD780).

GUESTKYLE why did he buy such a big sofa even if he knew that it may be a problem to move in to his house? most modern sofas can be separated into several parts. Great inspiration of a man who rose above setbacks!

GUEST68267 Sunnydream,

Did he break his window? See, the elevator and the corridor are too narrow to let his sofa enter his room. I am wondering how he put his sofa into his apartment through the window?

For that extra RMB5000 he could have asked a professional carpenter to make a special sofa for him.

CNY 5000 may not be enough. The hand-made wood furnitures are much more expensive than those manufactured ones.

How much isn the cost of the furniture he bought? I'm sure it's costly that needs to be airlifted. The airlift costs him extra RMB5000. With that RMB5000 he can use professional help, and most furniture today are from CKDs. RMB5000 is not the cost of the furniture, dear Lonely.
