| Most commonly used phrases: (for me) Hello- Ni Hao Goodbye- Zai jian Please- Qing Thank you- Xie xie You're Welcome- Bu ke qi Sorry- Dui bu qi Where are you going?- Ni chu nar? Restaurant Bill- Mai dan Turn right- You guai Turn Left- Zuo guai Go Straight- Zhi zou More please- Duo yi xie I don't understand- Ting bu dong Not so often used phrases, but helpful at times... Are you married?-Ni jiehun le ma?;) Get away from me-Zou kai Don't force me!-Bie bi wo! Don't be nervous-Bie jin zhang I have no time- Mei shi jian I know exaxtly what you are saying about me!- Wo neng ting dong ni shuo de hua! (useful for the clusters of old ladies who point, stare and laugh!!) Hope this helps someone!! |
