Mr. Luo’s son studies in the second grade in a primary school. One day, his son came back home with tears in eyes. He asked his son “What happened?” His son said “I am jilted by the girl I love”. Mr. Luo and his wife were shocked. They couldn’t believe that their 8 years old boy fell in love with a girl.

According to his son, he had crush on one of his classmates for a while. Recently, he wrote a love letter to her. The girl tore his love letter into pieces and told him “XXX sent me an iphone 4S”. Mr. Luo’s son found out that XXX also loved the girl he loved and he was from a well-off family. Since then, he had noticed that his dream girl left school with XXX. Thus, he thought he was dumped.

Mr. Luo never thought his son could love a girl at primary school. He can’t figure out how to guide his son. Do you have any suggestion?

GUEST24212 This is not "love". An eight year old boy is incapable of loving a girl.
But he can "like" her a lot.
And when the girl "likes" someone else, the boy has to learn to accept it.
Teach the boy to focus on things that matter, like school, hobbies, sports.
If he excels in these, a lot of pretty girls will show up.
