Then the Chinese need to be Hindus (Buddhism is a splinter of Hinduism) in order to marry those Indian girls.

Like Muslims, they also require those marry them to observe Islam. Well, I think some Chinese boys are willing to do it. Compared with religion belief, marrying a wife is more important to them.
