Looking for an expat in Qingdao for Sports Companion and Latino Dance!
Jan 21, 2013 06:02
I like professional sports and body building. I especially like dancing and I will die for learning Latino dance and the music!
But I find it is so hard to find a good spanish style club or dancing training place in Qingdao.

Maybe I did not search good. I donot know.

I would be happy to find some latin dance lovers or trainers to learn the dancing and be dancing partner!

Is there anybody who is interested this in Qingdao?

Hi Julianna

Have you been to the Shangri-La Q Bar? I think they have a latin/salsa dance night once a week - or at least used to. Some of the hotel bars offer this, but maybe you can search online as well. I'd offer to dance with you but I have two left feet!

"Two left feet" is a saying that means I am terrible at dancing...!

I've heard that these places have Salsa:

LPG Bar in Jiangxi Lu, call 8593 6566 to check as I read somewhere that they may have stopped now.
Another place you can try is Downtown Bar in Creative 100 on 100 Nanjing Lu. Their Salsa Nights are Mondays and Wednesday around 8.30pm but again call first to check 137 3093 1972.
As I said, Q Bar is in the Shangri-La Hotel. Salsa night is on Mondays, call 0532 8388 3838 to confirm it's still on.

Happy dancing! Let me know if you go - maybe I'll come and watch you dance!
