Putting together local and foreigners 3.3 billion within a span of 40 days? Or is it a combination of people and vehicle?

Sorry ,Wanhu, maybe i misled. I should say more than 3 billion passengers. one person goes back home then goes back work again, so that is 2 passengers. Not include the vehicle. It is an experience if you foreigners want to try.

Wan, the number of the farmer workers has already exceeded 2.6 billion. You can imagine how many workers in China.

That is a complex caculation, of course, during 40 days, some person will take vehicle for several times, so that is caculated several passengers. Of course, the workers can't reach to 1.5 billion. That is higher than the total population.

It's not easy to imagine the number of workers in China, as the total number of farmer-workers is doubled the total population of China.

Haha, I do not know how they calculate the passenger volume. If a passenger travel from Beijing to Shanghai and then to Guangzhou, will he be counted for one time or three times? I guess Beijing Railway Station, Shanghai Railway Station and Guangzhou Railway Station each counts him one time. When the Ministry of Railways sums up the passenger volume, these three railway stations hand in their statistics. A person has been counted three times.

Just my guess.

we learned from the news the box lunch is sold at 40RMB(6.5USD) each in the express train. The daily normal price is around 12RMB(2USD) each. Some attendant told the reporters secretly if they can't sell out the box lunch in THIS train, they have to buy those boxes at 8RMB(1.3USD). Neither passengers nor attendants get benefit from this immigration, who at last share the feast?
