A Japanese businessman donated two statues (One is Statue of David and the other is Statue of Venus) to his hometown. But the people in the town don’t like the statues. One is a naked man and the other is a half-naked woman. The people are worried these two statues will have bad influence on their kids. They suggest that David should wear underwear.

A Japanese businessman donated two statues (One is Statue of David and the other is Statue of Venus) to his hometown. But the people in the town don’t like the statues.

One is a naked man and the other is a half-naked woman. The people are worried these two statues will have bad influence on their kids. They suggest that David should wear underwear.

If I were him, I wouldn't donate these two statues. He should have known that people in his hometown are traditional. Why not donate some money to build better schools or improve the infrastructure facilities?

Personally, I think there is no need to cover half-naked Venus and naked David. The Europeans are more open-minded than Asian people. In ancient Greece, they even held naked sports meetings.
