Ingredients: wheat flour (100 grams), dates (200 grams), cowpea (50 grams), white sugar (75 grams) and soda.

Step1 Wash dates carefully and soak them in water for 2 hours. Clean and wash cowpea, get out the seeds and soak them for 10 hours.

Step 2 boil dates until they are well done, remove the date stones and grind dates in a stone mill.

Step 3 Boil soaked cowpea seeds until they are well done. Don’t remember to add some soda.

Step 4 Grind cowpea seeds in the stone mill and boil them again. Then add ground date paste in and boil again.

Step 5 Mix wheat flour into paste, add it into the boiler and boil for five minutes and then add white sugar in. Remember to stir the mixture in the boiler when adding flour paste.

I will try but without adding white sugar as dates for me are already sweet.

You are welcome. I think it's time consuming to make date paste. So I add dates and matrimony vine to make bean milk. It's easy. I just need to put soybean, date and matrimony into the soybean machine and wait for 30 minutes. Then I can enjoy it.
