Once you have gastritis, it's not easy to rectify. Most spicy things will damage the lining of the intestine. I don't know the traditional medicine for this ailment, but for those prefer modern medicine, Controloc (pantoprazole) is recommended. Wan

Thanks for your recommendation, Wan. Traditional Chinese medicine is effective. The premise is that you find a very experienced old traditional Chinese medicine expert. My mom is over fifty. She has visited a local traditional Chinese medicine doctor many times. The doctor's prescriptions and medicine really work.

I'm sure some of us may have a hard time to search for Controloc in China because imported ones not only expensive but are not found in many local pharmacies. Wan

Wan, Made in China Controloc is cheap. The imported one is definitely expensive.

I apologise for not explaining the terms for medicine. There are innovator medicine and generic medicine. Innovator medicine is the original product, first produced, such as Norvasc by Pfizer. Other pharmaceuticals may produce its generic name Amlodipine Besylate (for high blood pressure). Any generic Amlodipine will do but not the same as Norvasc and then of course innovator medicine is more expensive than the generic. Some people say that innovator is more expensive than the generic because it involves with laboratory studies. Wan

Thanks for your explanation, Wan. I am still puzzled. I think most patients love to choose the cheaper one if the curative effect of both are the same.
