2014 APEC Summit will be held at Yanqi Lake in Beijing. It’s a piece of good news. At the news conference, Zhang Huimin, the director of Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing Municipal Government, introduces a plan to clean air from 2013 to 2017. Besides, he claims that Chinese cooking has contributed very much to the increase of PM 2.5. He wishes that Beijing people could cooperate with the Beijing government to clean the air.

It’s the first time that Chinese cooking has been blamed for the increase of PM 2.5 though no scientific research has concluded that how much Chinese cooking has contributed to the PM 2.5 increase.

A netizen asks a question “Chinese people have been cooking for thousands of years. Why didn’t fog and haze occur before?” Another netizen suggests that a new regulation should be carried out to deal with fog and haze caused by cooking. People are allowed to cook on the odd numbered days. On the even numbered days, people are forbidden to cook.

I have a better idea. The director of Foreign Affairs Office of Beijing should set a good example for us. He should stop cooking dishes first.

It's easy to blame on things that can't answer back.
