It depends on what kind of girl you encounter. If you meet a shy and traditional girl, never show your affection in public. She will be embarrassed if you do it. If she is open, you can always show your affection in public.

Last time, I saw a pair of lovers kiss on the bus. They never care about other passengers. They just focused on kissing. It was embarrassing. I just turned my head and look at people outside through the window.

It's a balance I guess.. some people go overboard with it of course!
