Ha Ha I have visited Guilin in particular and this one girl was talking to her girlfriend on the phone sounded like and argument to me because she was so loud .

Another Chinese lady I work with talks so quietly sometimes it hard to hear what she is saying

So could just be a region thing as to the noise level of speech

Anyway I married the Guilin girl ,she hasn't changed in the last 6 years but is very sweet all the same
