I at some point when im in my early 30s i would like to go to china, any thing i should know?

Perhaps knowing some basic Chinese does help but through my experience, I don't have any basic Chinese language but still can communicate. When I first came to visit China in 2004, from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, not many people could communicate in English. Now time has changed and more Chinese are well-versed in English though their pronunciations are still somewhat with Chinese accent. What you need to know is to study a little bit of its culture.

I have been to almost 18 provinces of China and three of its five autonomous regions. China is a vast area to observe and every province has its own specialty that may amaze you. Some people would like to visit city areas while some to outskirts and remote areas, and I did both. You can see beautiful mountainous areas between Qinghai and Tibet, and visit the dusty town of Minhe.
