I plan to visit Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong on November 18-26. With me would be 7 paper conservators and librarians from the National Library of Malaysia that are interested in conservation and preservation both on remedial and preventive. I am still checking which library to visit, although I have earmarked both Shenzhen and Hong Kong Central Library. I would like to request a one-day interpreter cum translator for this august visit and would welcome responses from those who are interested as I need to prepare my tentative itinerary. Suggestions and ideas are also welcomed. Kindly contact me at hotmail.com|one_wh or QQ me at 2328931915. I thank you very much for your kind response and cooperation.

From my recent experience I may conclude that there are many good business guides in China, especially in Guangzhou and Shenzhen but not the one I hope to find especially on specialised subjects, such as on paper restoration and fine binding. It is not easy to explain how rounding and backing are done without understanding its concept and technical jargons.
