Yeah, I heard about it, too. BBQ parties were on the Great Wall, even worse, druggers nidified there at night.

The protection of these World Heritages such as Great Wall, Forbidden City, Potala Palace, mainly lies on the whole nation's consciousness and passion of protection, not only to huff the admission fee, or some words of mouth.

How many devastating activities are doing on the Great Wall every year, who knows? Movie makings, motor spans, engravings, almost all for the cold hard cash, individual heroism, or by those maniac who awfully thirst for fame, etc.
