i think u should go deep into some old towns in the south of China, especially in Sichuan province or Chongqing.

Dr.Tea is an old metier in China, u can find his shadow in most Ming&Qing Dynasty novels.He often lives in the tea shop,and every afternoon or evening,he'll narrate some Chinese legends and stories.

Well ,so clever frankenstein is .

If you want to know about Chinese Tea Culture ,you can check in TCG , I remember I saw an article about it .

In Xian ,there is a famous allay ,named De Fu Xiang ,full with teahouses and coffee bars ,you'll certainly find what you want know there .

Hi, if you mean the Government run chain of tea shops I have the number for the one in Beijing:

010 62063691 or 010 82082016

email = vip.sina.com|drtea1884

Hope that helps - maybe they can give you info about one of their tea houses in Kunming.

I just got back this morning from a 2 week trip to China - Beijing and Xi'an - I spent far too much money in the Beijing Dr Tea house but there tea is SO good!

Take care,

Geordio
