It might be impolite to use knife eating with parents or grandparents sitting around the table, because it is hard to avoid putting the knives without pointing anyone else which seems to be impolite in China, right?

Interesting....

Seeing as the pizza is Italian, and Italians have always eaten it with their fingers, i think it's more likely they would consider people using a knife and fork impolite!

=)

I've never seen anyone eating pizza with a knife and fork before - I think it would be quite unusual!

Ah,but the waiter will prepare fork and knife as tableware for you when they serve up the pizza ,not only in pizza hut but alos many other western style restaurants.

oh,no wonder I felt discomfortable when using knife and fork ,but they are very exquisite .

Started in 1958, when we were doing the "Great Leap Forward", Frank and Dan Camey, the brothers did almost the same thing in Kansas :), 10 years later, the first overseas Pizza Hut opened in Canada.
I am not sure when Pizza Hut came to China and people became so crazy about it.

The first known pizza ("pizze") came from Naples, Italy in the 19th century. It was named Margherita after their queen at the time to which the cook served his pizza.

Although some people believe the Romans or Greeks had invented a similar type of food hundreds of years before. Who knows.

I think Pizza Hut is an Amercian chain? I love pizzas from Pizza Hut, but my uncle reckons their pizzas aren't even half as good as a pizza from Italy.
