EDYHARTO Points: Join Date: Jan 13, 2005 Status: offline	Hi, thanks to those who gave me the wonderful tips in this forum, we made our last trip in China with little hitches. But we missed Jiuzhaigou! It is said that the sceneries are the best, a taste of Heaven, food is hot and the girls are very beautiful! Really we are drawn towards a trip in Autumn and are thinking possibly of October 10 onwards. Is this a good time? We were told that the roads to Jiuzhaigou would be closed in late October because of the weather, is this true. Please give me all the tips you can give. Thank you very much.

Wonder if we would be able to see such wonderful sights! BTW, does anyone know whether we are too late to enjoy the marvellous sceneries after 10 October?

Been trying to see if there is a closed season for Jiuzhaigou. Maybe you can tell us when you get back. I went in June

Oct 10 is just after the National day holiday (one week) which is when you don't want to be anywhere near the place. It will be cold and possible a little damp but most likely one of the best times to see the fall colours.

I'm posting a travel review on it this week. Have a look
