ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	Take airport shuttle no.2 to the CAAC office on Nanjing Xilu, beside Jing'an Temple. 19 RMB/pax. Then take metro line 2 from Jing'an Temple to Nanjing Donglu, 3rd stop away. 3 RMB/pax. Walk to your hotel, about 600m from exit no.3 of Nanjing Donglu metro stop. GUEST87160	Thanks for your kind advice. Is the metro very pack in the morning? No problem boarding metro with luggages? I was told to take the maglev train and then change to metro line 2 but i was afraid metro will be very pack.

GUEST71241	we rent a car from a car rental comapny called shangcar, and costed us 1 hour and a half to reach downtown shanghai from pudong international airport. I was hear there will be a new built terminal 2 (T2) put to operation later this Month.

GUEST87160	Thank Ellyse, I will either take airport shuttle no. 2 to the CAAC office on Nanjing Xilu, beside Jing'an Temple then take metro line 2 from Jing'an Temple to Nanjing Donglu and walk to the hotel or take the maglev train (I was told its a fast way to go downtown from the airport) and then change to cab to the hotel. Thanks for all your helpful advice.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	The Maglev (http://www.smtdc.com) does NOT go downtown. It only goes to Longyang Lu metro stop (line 2) in the boonies of Pudong. Look on the URL for the interactive metro map that I listed above.

GUEST87160	but if i can the airport shuttle to CAAC office then change to metro line 2 the metro will be pack?? how long journey to go CAAC from ariport? another way to take maglec to longyang lu then change to metro line 2 to nanjing lu?? but again metro will be very pack right? will cost a lot from longyang lu to manhattan bund in cab??
