For me its Hemu (Xinjiang). Its not because of food, its not because of people, its because of sheer place itself. Located among the colorful birch mountains and snow mountains with blue river flowing next to it, people moving on horses, wooden cottages, yellow northern sunlight. During sunrise you feel as though you're in heaven, the whole town will have a thin layer of haze, smoke coming out of cottages, golden yellow sunlight kissing the town. I was extremely sad when I had to part from this place.
