| First of all, it is important to distinguish "Chinese Girls" separately from "Asian Girls". Asian can mean Japanese, Korean, Indian, Philippino, Iraqi, etc. Chinese can mean..... er...... Chinese. So seeing the original question referred to Chinese, I will answer from my experience. Girls from mainland China are the most genuine people I have ever met. I have travelled to over 50 countries, and lived in 5, so I feel qualified to make that judgement. The Chinese culture is not influenced as heavily by the media as other countries are. Girl's magazines such as Cosmo, Vogue, etc, are nowhere near as popular here as in other countries. People watch less tv, and as a result are not influenced by celebrities and idols. Go to Japan or Korea and all the girls try to look the same, following the latest pop trend etc. It is not just in appearance either, because if it is deemed cool to have an attitude, then people suddenly adopt one and stop being nice to each other. It is the same in most of Europe, and the worst in the U.S where every girl wants to J-lo arse, or the Anniston hair-do. With the lack of such influences in China, girls (and boys - but we are talking about girls here) are allowed to develop as the people they were born to be, rather than conditioned by society. I use the word "organic" when I describe chinese people, because they are the most geniune people I have ever met. As a result you can get to know an idividual so much quicker, as they are not hiding behind a false mask to please society. On top of this, Chinese girls are stunningly beautiful, and have a level of femininity which makes caucasian girls seem like men! They appreciate the smaller details in life (doors being held open for them) and smile so easily. Because they are so genuine, these smiles come from the heart, and not just the "have a nice day" smile you get in the states where the person really couldn't care less if you have a good day or not. Combine the above points with their strong family values, then let's just be thankful there are so many of them in the world! |

| well that is all very interesting - me i married a girl because i loved her - looks -age - race - all uninportant to me. as is religion. i am a practicing church goer but that is me - i dont expect it of anybody else and dont judge anyone one way or another. we both worked to live - not lived to work . had a family and are now happily retired together after 47years of married life together. we have grand children and i am off to China in march - the wife would not like to go - see will go with me to Europe in October. "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and always remember "beauty is skin deep" look into the eyes and see the soul just my thoughts - all creation is beautiful - regards peter |

| GUEST21196 | I am a British born Chinese with a traditional chinese up bringing. I've recently divorced from a girl from China after 10 years of marriage whom i met whilst working o/seas. Although i agree with most of the positive comments about China girls, i've also experienced myself & heard alot of negative comments about them as well. Alot of them want to marry a Westerner to elevate their own status & with a chance to leave China. And most Westerners working in China are on very good salaries with alot of perks so they can afford to go out socialising etc. And we all like money, don't we? But alot of girls only look at a Westerner on the surface & what they can get out of him. As long as they get out of China & if things don't work out after, they'll divorce & share 50% of their husbands assets. So it's a win, win situation for them. |

Inter-cultural relationships are so much more exciting than being with someone with the same thinking as yourself. Maybe you should try a Chinese girl? I bet you would never go back! Asian girls rock the world. No others can even come close. Of course, there are evil ones too, but far less than in western societies. |
