I read all 9 pages of your blog and it was very helpful!
Would you happen to know what is the best location where I could catch the shuttle to the Pudong Airport from the East China Normal University (3663 Zhong Shan Rd North, Shanghai). I think I catch the shuttle number 6 from Zhongshang Park subway station. Also, do you know where I should have the taxi drop me off at Zhongshang Park and also what is approximate faire for the shuttle, Ive heard it was around 20RMB and it should take approximately 2 hours to get to the airport.

Tell the taxi driver that you want to be dropped where the airport shuttle leaves.
Airport shuttle no.6 costs 20 RMB/pax to get to Pudong airport. I don't think it would really take 2 hours. Perhaps 1.5 hours?

Roughly 160-180 RMB and 1+ hour depending on traffic conditions and time of day.

Fastest would be to arrange for a direct airport transfer. Are you planning to splurge on that? What time are you arriving on 27/5? How many of you are there and how much luggage do you have?

No, you'll have to take a taxi. The earliest airport shuttle no.5 leaves from Shanghai main train station at 0530.

GUESTLE AI DAN Ni hao,

my plane will hopefully arrive on time (7.10 AM) on 3 August Monday to Pudong and I need to get to Hangzhou airport as soon as possible since my flight leaves at 2.10 PM from Hangzhou. So I'm asking, what is the fastest way to get to Southern Train Station form the airport? Is it wiser to take the maglev plus metro or conversely to take shuttle bus/taxi straight from the ap? I can get train tickets in advance from my friend so queueing is not an issue, I think :)

The most important thing to know is it possible to catch the D5657 Bullet train to Hangzhou?
