| Guest, you can buy contacts that you can sleep with. Normal lenses need to be taken out to let the eye breath. You are not supposed to fly with them in either but I do. The action of blinking during the day lubricates the eye. You may as you have suggested be able to remove the lenses by immersing your head but you may loose the lens. If you are still unable to remove the lens you should seek help as it can course long term damage The Optometrist should have told you how to put them in and remove them safely. Sounds like he didn’t. Dodger. |

GUEST5251 | Never wear contact lens. My job requires me to use the computer everyday. Wearing contact lens definitely makes me feel uncomfortable. I prefer to wear glasses. |
