If my lady wanted surgery to make herself more beautiful, I would tell her that there is no reason to because in my eyes she is extremely beautiful already and that I love very much as she is, if she was still unhappy with her looks then I would support her.

Alan, you are really smart. I always believe that natural beauty is the most important. Plastic surgery can make a girl more attractive in appearance. But it can not change her personality. I do not like those vases( those who only have good appearances). Good temperament and character can add extra points.

I was told by a lady friend that I know how to press the right buttons, I pride myself in being an honest person and my lady knows this so any praise I give her she knows I mean it.
Alan.

If my gal wanted to improve herself for me I would thank her, but encourage her not to do it, LEOPOLD219. She accepts me with my many physical flaws; I accept her with her flaws. ...but when you care about someone, the flaws become invisible because all you see is the important characteristics within.

Yes, Griz. The flaws become invisible to you. But to herself, they are still visible. Why does she want to do plastic surgery? Because she wants to be the perfect in your eyes:)

I will never consider doing plastic surgery. Confidence is the most important. Beauty is not only the appearance but also something deep inside. Be confident to yourself!

I have never considered surgery myself but I can understand why some people undergo such painful and expensive process. We live in a world where we are being judged by our looks. This is a fact. This is why most actors and actresses are good looking. People will see your appearance first before they can even hear you utter one intelligent word. Studies also show that beautiful people are treated better. This is especially heavy on women who are expected to just stand and be pretty and their chances of getting a good husband depended largely on their looks.

If someone really thinks looks is what matters in life, should go and have head checked. I use to say: looks only affect for one getting interested of other. After knowing other, looks donĀ“t matter. (althought I feel my wife is really beautiful from outside, too)

I agree with SHESGOTTOBE. Good looks can benefit women. Those beautiful girls got more chances than those plain girls. Just think about those flight attendants. Two girls, one is plain and the other is beautiful. If they both want to be a flight attendant, who has the chance to be selected? The beautiful one. Some service industries have some requirements for appearance.
