On May 6, a tragedy happened at a rural credit cooperatives in Guizhou Province. A robber robbed about 5000 RMB from a woman who is waiting to deposit money at the cooperatives and stabbed her. At that time, there were dozens of people at the bank. However, they all escaped and no one tried to stop the robber. After the robber ran away, the staff at the cooperatives dialed 110. Finally, she was dead because of losing too much blood.

After reading the report, people condemned those who were at the cooperatives and did not offer any help to the victim and said that they are indifferent and cruel.

I have a question: if you were put in that situation, will you stand back of try to stop the robber at the risk of being killed? Many people condemned others. But if they were put in that situation, they woud do the same thing, escape and protect himself from injury. How sad it is!

"After the robber ran away, the staff at the cooperatives dialed 110."

Why did the staff took action so late?Wasn't there security man?I think the bank also have to be responsible for the tragedy.

They were the same with those who ran away, indifferent and cruel.

"I think the bank also have to be responsible for the tragedy." I agree with you.

To avoid this kind of tragedy, someone suggests that we should set up a new law that people like those who ran away and did not offer help should be punished.

How about this idea? Good or bad.

hehe, I just feel sad that the quality of our people is not so good. Help each other should be our responsibility, but we have to make laws to force people to do so.

Sorry to make you unhappy,ZOEY:-)

I would like to think in that situation I would have done something. 1 robber on his own and armed with a knife, maybe different if he had a gun. I am lucky to have never faced this situation but I believe I would have at least had a go.

Hallo ZOEY,

May I ask which situation is it that are you putting yourself in when you ask such a question?
I assume that the said be assailant would be very fortunate to have approached me with such a gift. I feel that I would attempt not refuse his gift rather simply return it thus, healing him. The same is to apply to the woman who appearently didn't welcome his gift.

Before to attempt, think about yourself, " Are you able to fight"
