Shanghai, the combination of modern and tradition. It's not what u hear it is like. Go and figure by yourself there about Shanghainese life. It is the number one gorgeous metropolitan city in the East, the Oriental Paris.

The male hostess below is Xie, Hui, a local Shanghainese , former famouse soccor player in China national soccor team, whose grandfather is British ploiceman in SH.

Shanghai is a modern city. I haven't been there before. I will go there one day. The beautiful city in my eyes is Chengdu, my hometown.

BBQQ, I understand what you mean. Nowhere is better than our hometown. My last generation who grew up in Chairman Mao's era and were sent off to inner lands like Yun Nan , Si Chuan as teenagers. No matter how nice natural enviroments those places have, they just say I would get out of this hell at any expense.

commerce, entrepreneurship, civil service, and community building for more than a millennium. Still, in the minds of most people outside China, the rival port of Shanghai constantly overshadows Ningbo, which is less than a hundred miles to the south across Hangzhou Bay. Ningbo merchants and bbankers are performing extremely outstanding in mainland China, HongKong, Tai wan and overseas..
