Ha, for me there is no big difference, what do you do on Christmas and Spring festival?
-Eating
-Drinking
-Visiting family
Most festivals are the same. Sure they have different meanings, but as long as you don't forget who you are.. it shouldn't be a problem.

Certain religious festivals are not the same, for example Thaipusam which is celebrated by Hindus. They go to the Batu Caves Temple where they fulfill their vows to Lord Murugan. Not much on eating, drinking or visiting family.
