| GUEST09231 | I think Chinese women are the most physically beautiful women in the world. The traditional values they hold are an added BIG bonus. I most sincerely hope to meet and marry a Chinese woman some day very soon. Unfortunately I am not a wealthy man so I cannot afford to go there and I never meet real Chionese women here. Robert |

If we approach situations and relationships believing that they will fail, then they will. I believe that unless we are positive in our thinking, there is little point in pursuing any goal. Dodger. |

Actually,there are some girls here acting boldly.But it is not always.And it is ture that most chinese girls like foreign boyfriends.But we never find boyfriends because of his money and nationality.just for his love. And if a chinese girl make others puzzle, it may be she is a naive child,just. |

| GUESTWEAZEL | Great reading guys, I'm an english guy riding his bicycle through China at the moment on my own. Indeed the Chinese girls are lovely and have been charmed by them. However I would be most concerned about the 'package deal' concept of their tightley knit families if I became involved with such a girl. This is a different subject line I know, I just wonder if the family would make the relationship difficult. |

| Weird. When I was in Beijing, I had a hard time figuring my Chinese friend out. It's like a guessing game. I asked him a question answerable by yes or no, he wouldn't answer. As if answering either is wrong. He would just take a deep breath. I was like... what's up with that? Then I read that in Chinese culture, it is not polite to say no. I don't want to change Chinese culture but things would be easier if people could just say what they want and what they think. |

Your post reminded me of the situation one of my Chinese friends is currently in. He has a girlfriend but the parents of the girl doesn't like him at all. The father even threatened to commit suicide if they marry. The father said the only way he would give his permission is if the boyfriend can buy a house in Beijing. ^_^" |
