Quote: Who can tell as love is blind. But I will follow my heart and my love. Dodger, just follow your heart and your love as love is blind. Quite true. Perhaps, we feel happy to be fooled by our girlfriend or wife. Alan, some women who play games with you might have some other intentions. Who knows? Perhaps they just make fun of you. Just as I said, women's heart is as deep as the oceans. Paul, thanks for your recommendation. If I got a chance, I will read it. BTW, do you mean it is hard to find a girl who is direct?

.JimmyB, I hope you find happiness one day. You sound like a torture soul searching for something. Paul's recommendation is a good one and easy to read. If we approach situations and relationships believing that they will fail, then they will. I believe that unless we are positive in our thinking, there is little point in pursuing any goal. Dodger.

Quote: In todays world, do you think emotions are morals counts, where there is more corrupted mind? Yes, there are more corrupted people at present. But we should keep ourselves from being corrupted. At least, I will do it. I guess that here emotions refer to love. Am I right? Love is important. But morallity can not be ignored. A girl who has high moral qualities is much attractive.

Dodger, I just want to say 'thanks'. Quote: If we approach situations and relationships believing that they will fail, then they will. I believe that unless we are positive in our thinking, there is little point in pursuing any goal. I will do as you say. Please pray for me:) BTW, I am not a torture soul, but really searching something that I always believe in.

Weird. When I was in Beijing, I had a hard time figuring my Chinese friend out. It's like a guessing game. I asked him a question answerable by yes or no, he wouldn't answer. As if answering either is wrong. He would just take a deep breath. I was like... what's up with that? Then I read that in Chinese culture, it is not polite to say no. I don't want to change Chinese culture but things would be easier if people could just say what they want and what they think.

Hi Guestweazel, "This is a different subject line I know, I just wonder if the family would make the relationship difficult." Your post reminded me of the situation one of my Chinese friends is currently in. He has a girlfriend but the parents of the girl doesn't like him at all. The father even threatened to commit suicide if they marry. The father said the only way he would give his permission is if the boyfriend can buy a house in Beijing. ^_^"
