| Yes, we also have many Malay dialects in almost every state. We have 13 states in Malaysia and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan. The northern states which four of them are bordering Thailand have thicker accents and dialects sometimes not easy for other Malaysians to understand. Wan |

| Wan, That's why we need an official language. China has 55 ethnic groups excluding Han people. Chinese/mandarin is the official language. People from different ethnic groups can communicate with each other in Chinese. What's your official language? |
