"Thanks Jimmy, It's not as though I'm going to eat Jing though, maybe just the odd nibble, he he
As for greens, I do try to eat greens but in moderation because it's chemicals produced by greens that cause my kidney stones so I "

What kind of chemicals can cause kidney stone? My parents always ask me to eat more green vegetables. They told me that there were many kinds of vitamines in greens.Aftering hearing your words, I am a little bit puzzled.

People prone to forming calcium oxalate stones may be asked by their doctor to limit or avoid certain foods if their urine contains an excess of
oxalate.
High-oxalate foods—higher to lower
rhubarb
broccoli
spinach
beets
swiss chard
wheat germ
soybean crackers
peanuts
okra
chocolate
black Indian tea
sweet potatoes
I hope this helps Jimmy,

(((Women as vegetables?)))

If my girl friend is to be vegetable, I like to think of her as a delicious mix salad, that pleases me to the last bait.

Thanks, Alan. To avoid calcium oxalate stones, I should eat less broccoli and spinach ( I like them very much).

JC, why do you want your girl to be a salad?

I don't think you will have a problem Jimmy, I have other factors like being overweight and suffer with arthritis, both are associated with getting
kidney stones, I'm going to hospital on Wednesday for further tests as it looks like I might have a problem with my prostrate too, I'm keen to get
that sorted because a good friend of mine died of prostate cancer.

Alan, take care of yourself! Wish that you could get all problems sorted. I believe you can since you have a breezy personality :-)

Thanks Jimmy, I'm sure I'm in good hands with the hospital, the specialist told me my prostrate is enlarged but he said its quite normal for my
age, they are just making sure it's not cancer.
On the bright side, I'm not in any pain at the moment, so its not as bad as it could be, there's a lot of people worse off than me.
