| GUESTMIKE | omg, i can't believe this discussion have last this long, I am a chinese man living in europe since i was a boy, i dont look like i am 13 years old boy, i don't force my gf to cook, even though she is a chinese girl, i have a lot of chinese friends who come here for study, believe me, they treat their women well, stop thinking about how different the chinese men are comparing with the western men, i mean come on, no matter what you are, white, yellow, black or whatever, get to know him/her and don't make assumptions, every men is different, believe it or not. I can understand why most western women think that most asian men are a bunch of geeks, well, i have to say, me too! why? because most of them came to western for what? for study and most of them ARE geeks, also in china and you don't expect ordinary geeks to have a face like tom c. and a body like arnold. there are tons of western men and chinese men that are sissies. stop generalizing, to these who feel like going out with chinese men, go ahead, dont worry about it, the only way you can find out more about him is to talk to him, get to know him and if he is a sissy ass, find a new, there are more than 0.8 billion chinese men, so take your time. to answer the question about how chinese men think about western women, some of them think they are hot, some of them think they are cheap, some cant think, come on, people are different. i personally dont have any problem with white girls, have dated two myself, i think they are nice, sexy and so on, but the problem why the relationships didnt last was not because of culture difference. so dont worry about that, i know many chinese men think exactly as i do, if some1 tells you that chinese men only like chinese women for any weird reasons and you believe that, then you are just as uneducated as he or she is. the bottom line is every1 is different, and communication is important, if you dont talk to him, you will never know the how he really is, no matter how many so-called chinese guru you talk to, however good luck with your hunting, :-). catch me on hotmail.com|i2u521 if you have more question, :-D |

Trust me on this one, many men love having sex all the time, but it depends on if the women they are with are still attractive enough or do they have the feeling about their partner after 10 years or 3, :-). |

| GUESTCHINA MAN | I married to my wife (a white American girl) for almost 10 years, there are still some cultural problems even now. Having sex and getting married are totally different stories. But we are getting along so far so good. Chinese are normally shorter and smaller than white dudes and black guys. so physically it is disadvantage for Asians (sorry, we can't change that without a few generations' gene modifications). so to date a western woman, make sure to show the strong side of you, Kind , smart, funny, organized, responsible etc. Also very important, don't be too shy! Most while guys are not shy, that's how they pick up girls very quickly. like I said before, getting into bed with someone are totally different from marrying someone. So you'd better think carefully before you make any commitment. |

| GUEST14213 | how can a chinese man marry a western woman if he cant even get a date with one? chinese men are not aggressive enough to get a white women. i dont believe that chinese boys are really taught to be competitive in the dating world, and therefore arent as assertive when he sees a girl he likes. this of course lingers into adulthood. white men have the advantage over chinese guys because they are taught to be competitive in dating as a child and probably has more experience. many western boys start dating at a young age. in contrast, the chinese boy is expected not to date and go straight into marriage. this goes even for foreign born chinese. it is this kind of upbringing that makes the chinese male disadvantaged when it comes to finding a date. imagine asking a girl out for the very first time at age 20. it just doesnt seem right. if an american white boy starts asking girls out when he's 13, he has more chances to mess up and screw around, and doesnt have to take himself seriously. this enables him to learn the game a better making himself a better competitor when he is 20. this has nothing to do with first generation; tradition; or closed traditions. if you pay attention, you will notice that there are chinese women who have been in europe for 1 week, and already dating a white man. compare that with a 3rd generation chinese american guy who has been who probably has never dated a white woman. theres a chinese man raised in the usa, frequently complaining about being unwanted by white women in the usa. his name is winston wu and has his own website and forum. you will find many chinese american men that go back to china to look for a wife because he cant find one in america. how many chinese american women do you know who return to china for a husband? throughout the west, you will find very few couples that involve chinese man and white woman, regardless of short, long dating, or marriage. just walk around the street of any western city and you will see countless numbers of white men / chinese women, but almost no chinese men / white women couples. this has less to do with chinese men finding white women attractive, but more to do with white women finding chinese men attractive. there are many statements online discussing second generation asian males having trouble finding a white woman, even though the asian male is highly motivated to date white women. the white women simply would not respond to the asian man. most white women want an aggressive man. asian men are gentle and frequently perceived as feminine. on the other hand, white women respond more to black men because they are perceived to be more aggressive and masculine. |

| GUEST14213 | i have seen these patterns (white men/asian woman vs asian men / white women) throughout europe, australia, nz, and north america. in fact, i find no significant difference between any of these places in terms of the frequency of white women/asian men couples. in all these places, there are widespread white men/asian women couples anywhere on the street. one of the sadest observations i made is that i see more couples involving a gay asian guy and a white guy than a straight asian guy and white woman. |
