| Thanks I've have just seen that the epicentre is between Chengdu and Chongqing. I had been told it was to the south of us but north west makes more sense now. That same area had serious flooding with tragic loses just two years ago. |

| Been hard for me to pinpoint the epicenter even though my friend gave me the correct location at about 6.00pm this evening. there are so many place names that are similar. Wenchuan which is north west of Chengdu a little north of the Panda reserve and county seat of some of the Tibetan minorities. A beautiful area in the tortured terrain surrounding the Min Jiang River. Unfortunately the death toll is expected to be high. Nearly time to head outside for a few hours although I wonder how accurate it will be in predicting any after shocks. |

| I was thinking about you as I logged on this morning...knowing that Chongqing and Chengdu are nearby each other. Good to see that you are okay. It is sad to know that so many will be lost. |
