Dave, I am sorry to hear this. It is her pity that she didn't notice your excellent cooking skills.

Ok, she loves me again. The meal is back on. As well as a 3 week trip to China and 2 weeks of that travelling with her.

This week I have been practising, my sweet and sour is awesome, my lemon sauce for my chicken is almost there, my Sichuan twice cooked pork needs some fine tuning but my roast duck noodle soup has become world famous.

Good news, Davec. What makes her change her mind?

"my Sichuan twice cooked pork needs some fine tuning but my roast duck noodle soup has become world famous."

Who taught you to cook double-cooked pork and roast duck noodle soup? They sounds nice.

Dave, I am curious about roast duck noodle soup. Can you give a recipe? It must be very delicious. I am really surprised that a foreigner can do some Chinese dishes very well.
