Dear CM I suppose there is free shuttle service to Portas do Cerco (i.e. the border gate), where most renowned hotels in Macau do provide, thus no need to go to MIA. Check with the hotel concierge for schedule. I always travel light and cheap. Cross the border to Gongbei, and as in my previous responses, there are a few bus terminals. From Gongbei to Chan'An by bus is about 75RMB, 2 hrs. From Chang'An to Huanghe bus station in Humen costs 5RMB, 40 mins. Wan

Guest 58211. Yes there is, but I warn you that Dongguan is a very spread out city - and in my view, one of the hardest to get arround for the new foreign visitor. The station is a LONG way from other parts of Dongguan. I wonder why you are asking about Dongguan East station - are you planning to arrive by train, or is that where you want to go? If the former, I would suggest taking a bus from Guangzhou or Shenzhen to one of the more central bus stations. (sorry no maps to hand to get names for you). Buy a map as soon as you arrive.

Hmm, I'll try again, my original post has disappeared into a black hole. You will have no trouble at all. You should get processed in 30 mins, 60 mins in busy times. There is a bus to the airport which takes about 20 mins, cost 4.5 patacas (MOPS) or you can get a taxi quite cheaply (I think they will accept RMB on a 1:1 basis.) It's a small airport, with a somewhat disorganised check in, but it functions!
