![]() | Supoose you have promised to meet sb or have dinner with him/her and you suddenly don't want to see him/her or have dinner, what kinds of excuses do you usually use? One of my male friends usually say " I am too busy with my work" or " Sorry, I forgot. When I realized, I tried to call you but my cellphone battery is dead". My other friends and I have got used to this because he used this excuse too much. So I am thinking what kinds of excuses other guys use. Would you like to tell me? |

![]() | Well, if you really have something urgent to deal with, just tell your friend that you can't keep the appointment because you have smoething urgent to do. I think that your friend will forgive you. And please don't be a liar. A good guy never lie to his friends. |

![]() | Being single, my married friends invite me to their holiday gatherings such as Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. For some reason, they think that since I am single, I will be so bored on holidays hehe... If they only know.... If there is no conflict with my schedule, I would consider it. But if I can't make it, I say so right away. And I appreciate their understanding. They are still my friends hehe... ^_^" |

![]() | Don't try to find excuse(s). Tell the truth. It's good if you could call beforehand. But if one needs to create an excuse, perhaps he can say: the wall of my house collapsed and I couldn't get out nor could call 911. Wan |
