vanessa,

You must have heard about Li Yugang, right? He looks so charming when he disguises as a woman. His voice, appearance and costume make me beleve that it is a girl who sings Peking Opera. But actually it isn't.

Due to his popularity, some Chinese men pretend as women to become popular. But they are not as good as Li Yugang.

GUEST54138 'Men are simply becoming more feminine with freedom of expression..."

That's exactly it - one of America's major Founding principles is freedom of expression/individual liberty.

Yes, I have heard about him. He is really great. Besides,I must say that he is so beautiful when he makes up and wears the ancient costume. He looks more like Mei Lanfang in my mind.

In my eyes, he is more feminine than women. God must have made a mistake. Li Yugang should have been born as a girl.

I agree with you. But in daily life, he is a completely ordinary man, including his voice, stature, and outline of face, etc.

Haha, the super stars are as ordinary as us. They just have two identities: first a person and then an actor.

Haha, if all people think the same as us, there will be no more crazy fans.

GUESTYEAH RI... The word feminine means "pertaining to a woman or girl", and that's what majority of Koreans and minority of other races look like. It's not just they don't have hair all around their body, even many Africans don't have and many many many people go clean shave, yet majority of them DON'T look feminine, but a lot of Korean guys look so. It is the way they dress and behave which makes them feminine. It is considered my a lot of people as FEMININE to spend a lot on your physical appearance which they do, they pose like females, and they dress up in skinnies, puts lipstick, above all have feminine hairstyles (NOT only long, long hair can be masculine, but for Koreans it's different.

GUEST15647 It's not pollution, or Koreans, it's TV and how they were raised. Most kids have now been raised up watching Bugs Bunny, the Crossdressing rabbit. This kinda marks the start of a different understanding. For the past 3 generations, masculinity has decreased, leaving room for femininity. As boys grow to become men, their hormones kick in. With the newly feminine way men think, more estrogen (The female hormone that shapes female bodies, such as breasts) is released than testosterone (The male hormone that helps generate longer penises, sperm, pecs and muscle). This results in more slim, smart men, with a growing hourglass figure. Who knows? Maybe in a hundred years or so feminine guys might develop small breasts? In a thousand, maybe hooker sized? TV can only tell.
