There is a difference between "Picking on someone" and "bullying someone" and as far as I can remember, picking on someone is annoying someone and bullying someone is harassing someone. I suggest maybe you should lighten up a little and see things bit more lighthearted and read my last post as I believe there is an apology in there somewhere if you take time to read between the line. There is no need for anyone to come here with swords and daggers..

For your information SUKUKI there is no difference between "Picking on someone" and "bullying someone". Moreover "harass" and "annoy" have similar meanings as this dictionary definition will attest; ha·rass : exhaust, fatigue b (1) : to annoy persistently (2) : to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct So your statement "picking on someone is annoying someone and bullying someone is harassing someone" is patently wrong. An apology where I have to search "between the lines" because there is "an apology in there somewhere" is either a cowards apology or one that is totally insincere. I suspect yours was both. Now you accuse me of coming "here with swords and daggers". Apparently in your jaundiced cockeyed view, defending myself from your accusations and criticisms is "coming here with swords and daggers". To continue this discussion would be pointless. You insist it's your right to vet my communications with HERBEAT despite the fact that they are intended for her. You obvioulsy see yourself as her protector. I have no interest in communicating with HERBEAT if it's conditional on your validation and interference. Nor do I have any interest in further discussions with you. You now have what you wanted. Congratulations.

You see, if you put beat in front of her, that is "Beat Her". Did you know what I meant? |

To Bobert and Sukuki, You guys are great teachers. No need quarrelling here. I believe that Herbeat won't see this happen. As Marrie said, "All u guys went thru shows us a practical english teaching and learning processing." I am sure that some other people might learn something too. So please don't be angry with each other. Community Moderators

Hi Christine, I know BEATHER is from beat her. But I still have no idea what do you mean by "beat her". Would you please bother to explain?
